Onze Missie
SKIV wil het tempo van de natuur respecteren – of liever nog, de natuur laten bijkomen.
Voor elk meubelstuk dat we herontwerpen, gaat er een fractie materiaal verloren aan verwerking. Onze missie is om ervoor te zorgen dat het natuurlijke herstel – de groei van bomen – dat verlies structureel overtreft.
Door ons productieproces, ontwerpstrategie en materiaalkeuze zo vorm te geven dat verspilling minimaal is, werken we aan echte circulariteit. Dat betekent: geen greenwashing, maar meetbare voortgang, transparant gedeeld met onze community.
Over Ons
We are Mees and Maurits, two students from TU Delft with a passion for design. With SKIV, our goal is to make the furniture industry more sustainable through innovation, with extra attention to you. We develop ways to build furniture from materials with a previous life, to offer an alternative to fast furniture, without compromising on quality. Doesn't that sound nice to you?
